Meet The Teachers
Lynne Hill
Hola my name is Lynne Hill, an enthusiastic, experienced and qualified language teacher (BA Hons 2:1, PGCSE) with a passion for teaching Spanish and all things Spanish! I am committed to delivering the highest standards of Spanish classes and I feel privileged to be able to teach students my favourite subject. I work hard to support all my students in their learning, to help them progress and achieve success in speaking Spanish. In class a wide range of activities are used, to suit all learning styles, with the main focus on speaking and listening. I hope you will enjoy the classes as much as I enjoy teaching you!
When on holiday, take pleasure from what learning Spanish can bring. Hispanic people are amazingly generous and if you can speak the language you will find yourself welcomed in a way that would never happen if you only spoke English. You will find speaking Spanish opens up a vast new world!
Angeles Molina
¡Hola!
My name is Angeles. I am Spanish from Jerez de la Frontera, Andalucía. The land of sun, vineyards, and horses in the southwest of Spain.
I first came to England, to the beautiful city of Bristol, in 1993.I had a temporary job, in administration at a yacht club in the marina, Puerto Sherry in El Puerto de Santa Maria. This awakened an interest to progress my English.
It was then a friend told me the best way to do it would be to go to the country and work as an au pair, as interacting with English people would be the easiest and best way to accomplish it.
I studied Economics, Accountancy and Management, at the University of Cádiz. Afterwards I worked for CEP (a centre where teachers attend to find support and training) in an apprenticeship. Later I worked as an assistant in the psychology and pedagogy department, complementing it with four hours a week after school club for children aged 10-12.
I worked for the Spanish Health Service in administration at a hospital and at the evaluation of incapacities unit. I have been living and working in England since 1999, and I return to Spain to spend quality time with family and friends during the holidays.
I like interacting with people and I would love to help you progress in Spanish and enjoy the language learning process if you choose to join one of my classes.
Joan Capote
My name is Joan Fernandez. I was born in a beautiful city called Cienfuegos in Cuba. I always listened to music and that is how I started to become interested in different languages. When I turned eighteen, I started travelling and I lived in many different countries in the past nine years. I have lived in Miami, and Atlanta in the USA. Then in Galicia, the Canary Islands and Menorca in Spain. Now I live here in Honley.
In my opinion language is a bridge that connects people and expands our cultural knowledge about what we don’t know. This is why it is so important for me to help people communicate so they can enjoy their holidays and interactions with others from around the world. Sharing all my experiences and bringing joy to others is what I enjoy the most!
