Japanese – 29th January

Here is Keiko’s message about the 29th of January Japanese class at the Modern Language School:

This week we learnt a new grammatical structure. 
Existence of people and things :  —NI—GA IMASU/ARIMASU.
A related example:
Onsen NI saru GA imasu.
There is a monkey in the hot spring.
Now we know that for people and animals, we have to use the IMASU verb and ARIMASU is used for inanimate things.
